Project holders’ selection is carried out according to the following criteria :

Technological and innovative aspects (competitive advantages of this innovation)
A degree of project maturity : it must reach the stage of scientific and technical “proof of concept”
The entrepreneurial aspect : the project holder must have studied the question of economic and financial feasibility (market segments …)

The entry into incubation is subject to a selection process as follows  :

1) Screening stage : developing an application form

Each project holders, meeting one of the eligibility conditions must first download and complete the application. A first technical evaluation will be conducted confidentially.

2) Project selection stage by the Accreditation Committee

If the project attracts the attention of the team, it will be presented in the Accreditation Committee which will determine the selected projects (about 3 per year).

3) If approval of the project :

1) Signing of a contract to enter into the incubator

If your project is selected, the start of the incubation process first requires the signing of an agreement. This will set conditions of participation as well as modalities of occupation in the incubator.

2) Signing of a license agreement with CERN :

To allow project holders to access at CERN technologies, a license agreement or any other contract must be signed with CERN.
